Evidence based beliefs are the ideal scenario. But when it comes to religion and social habits, it's rarely possible. Do not hate the other person because he/she worships a different god or performs different rituals. Tolerance does not mean acceptance, it means live and let live

Right from childhood, we're taught how to think, how to live and what to do. Society shapes us in every way, rewarding conformity and punishing otherwise. This leads to intellectual stagnation and unless we're free to question and understand everything in the world, we're doomed.
