Too often democratic voting is based on who is the most popular. The most popular candidate does not always have the best ideas or values.

You are no better than someone who is different from you. Different is not evil or wrong. You are just as different to those who you label as different.

We do not treat others well simply because of a religious book say to or because our parents raised us to. Empathy, the ability to put yourself into another's shoes, is an innate human ability. It is an ability that can and needs to be improved and focused on.
