If you look, even a little, you find many cultures living in moral societies that are fundamentally different, with only a few very basic principles being adhered to between them. Just because one group is different, does not mean they are wrong.
Dr. King, Jr.; Malcom X, Mahatma Ghandi, and many others are an example of people taking moral action, in the face of immoral or unethical laws and practices. Just because it's the law, doesn't make it right, and we have an obligation to make things better.
Some deaths are an end to needless pain. Death is part of the natural order of living, and should be met with as much dignity as possible, rather than dragged out beyond what is right and good for the individual.
